Born in 1977, Seoul. Cho Sungeun graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a major in Visual Communications and later on studied directing at the Polish National Film School. [#i_]Christmas Revisited[_i#](2003), her short film, was screened at the Seoul International Agape Film Festival. Another short film titled [#i_]Daughters of the Forest[_i#](2007) was screened at the Seoul International Family Film Festival and was also invited to the Łodzia po Wisle Film Festival. [#i_]With or Without You [_i#]is her feature debut.
