Born in 1973, Tel Aviv, Israel. He graduated from the film & television department of "Camera Obscura" School of Arts, Tel Aviv. His first feature film Strangers (2007) was in competition at the Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival. His films were constantly nominated by numerous film festivals. His first American short film, Skin(2018) won the 2019 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short.
