One year after a major bomb attack in Copenhagen, radicalization around the country intensifies and ethnic tensions run high. 19-year-old Zakaria gets involved in a radical organization where he forms a bond with Ali. The two men disagree with the current state of the country, which is turning on its own citizens. They decide to act, but they are just tools of the people with power.
A huge explosion occurs in the center of Copenhagen. This incident instantly changes the Danish society. The film follows 19-year-old Zakaria who joins a radical group after discriminated racially and Ali who makes a different choice afterwards. Political discrimination over terrorism grows powerful and the Danish society is heated up as the election campaign begins. The characters placed in the storm of conflict between reality and violence, terrorism and politics, are being used as a tool without free-will choice. Therefore, the twist at the end of this film is powerful. One cannot trust anyone. This causes extreme violence than terrorism and clearly shows that politics can also turn barbaric. [LEE Sang-yong]
