Review

The Bosnian War was one of the largest events in Eastern Europe in the early 1990s. After the war, Bosnia-Herzegovina is still left with war wounds and economic recession. Director Drljaca looks for people reforming the community and trying to find a new life. He captures those fighting to bring tourism, finding stories and turning the processes into a story. This is not about simply creating capitalism infiltrated products, but a healing process. Each story from the villages is common yet lies a community-specific mood and voice. As the camera films the village, it shows that living is a process of a colorful story in the combination of the own history, wound and a story of every individual. [LEE Sang-yong]
