Review

The experimental film Christmas on Earth (1963) caused a sensation in New York´s film scene. All the more remarkable, that vision belonged to a teenager, Barbara Rubin. An icon of the 60s, she was a muse and collaborator to artists such as Andy Warhol, Allen Ginsberg and Jonas Mekas. Filmmaker Chuck Smith carefully sculpts this fascinating portrait of a nearly forgotten artist.
