Cherien Dabis

Born in 1976. A graduate of Columbia University’s Masters of Fine Arts film program, she has written, directed and produced several short films. Also she worked on Showtime Network’s original hit series The L Word for three seasons. Her debuted feature film Amreeka premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and won the FIPRESCI Award at Cannes.
