Born in 1988, China. He graduated from Beijing Film Academy in 2014 with a B.F.A. degree in directing. His short film [#i_]Distant Father[_i#](2014) won Best Director at Golden Koala Chinese Film Festival, and [#i_]Night Runner[_i#](2014) was S\\ed by Taipei Golden Horse Film Academy. His first feature-length film, [#i_]An Elephant Sitting Still [_i#]was premiered at 2017 Berlin International Film Festival. He took his own life in October 2017.
