Overview

In the summer of 2007, Gahye realizes that her younger brother Gwanghyeon is the class president. She is planning to steal a motorcycle and sell it with her friend Gangseop so she could buy her brother a hamburger on the last day of school before the summer break starts.

Review

Gahye is the only sibling of her younger brother and the breadwinner of the family. As a high-school student, she makes a living by working part-time at a chicken restaurant and selling stolen goods. One would blame her as a delinquent teenager. Her wild friends and her way of making money from stealing never look proud or honorable. However, the film tries to lovingly look at what is hidden under her harsh words and behaviors. In the end, it discovers and reveals her veiled heart and the moment of choice. She plans to steal and sell a motorcycle so that her brother, who is a class president, can treat his friends with hamburgers. Park Hansol, who plays the girl, has the power for viewers to keep following the drama to the end. Her animated and candid approach to her character with a clean face is appealing enough to say a new star is born. (LEE Eunsun)
