Overview

Once a film director, Seok-woo comes to his hometown, working as a bus driver. One day, he picks up someone´s MP3 player at the bus terminal and faces his past through the process of finding the owner of the MP3.

Review

The story of the film director Seok-woo, who became a bus driver, and Young-ae, a table tennis player who became an employee of a bus company, When Winter Comes talks about what is lost and what is discarded, specifically about "lost heart" and "abandoned heart." Regarding a digital audio player found at the bus terminal, Seok-woo says it may have been lost by someone, but Young-ae thinks it was abandoned by someone and squabbles with him. The film seemed to revolve around Seok-woo, who wanders with regret, but as it develops, Young-ae leads it in the latter half. Young-ae is the one who really cares about the lost hearts, and she also develops a relationship with Seok-woo based on her high self-esteem. Han Seon-hwa, a former idol star in the role of Young-ae, also shows acting beyond expectation. When Winter Comes is a local movie filming all scenes in Jinhae-gu, Changwon, South Korea. (MOON Seok)
