In the COVID-19 era. Heeyoung, a taxi driver, meets Miju as her passenger. Miju remembers her, but Heeyoung doesn´t recognize Miju because she is wearing a mask. However, Heeyoung pretends to remember Miju who is so happy to meet her.
MIJU is a story of two women living in this pandemic era. Despite being infected by COVID-19, Miju breaks the self-quarantine guidelines. Taxi driver, Heeyoung, randomly picks her up and their strange relationship begins. Viewers will be deeply moved by the unconditional solidarity of the two women. The song Teacup by Skylark playing during the climax seems like throwing a comforting message to the two women enduring this lonely and solitary world. (MOON Seok)
