Seon-ji and Jin-hee were friends but become sisters-in-law when Jin-hee marries Seon-ji’s older brother. As they prepare food for ancestral rites together, Seon-ji is bothered by the way Jin-hee treats her mother.
Once close friends, Seonji and Jinhee spend their first holiday as sisters-in-law. Is it possible for such a relationship to coexist? The film goes back and forth between their relationship and depicts how they come up with their own solution. Seonji says that although she introduced her brother to Jinhee, she did not expect they would actually get married—and just like that, the film bombards us with sympathetic stories and laughter. In place of downplayed sharp blades of conflicts, the harmony of lovable characters fills up the film, offering great festive satisfaction. [LEE Jae-eun]
