The film is set in the context of a fire that broke out at an institute for girls in 1995. Yurim plans to start a fire at 2 a.m. in order to escape the highly restrictive institute, and a few other girls get on board. There’s not a moment of laughter throughout the entire process. Instead, the powerful mise-en-scène and the detached voice confirm that these girls have only one goal. Under a tiny crack in the wire mesh, their loneliness is strewn around like dandelion seeds.
