Kurdish refugees began to settle in the suburbs of Tokyo in the 1990s to escape the racial oppression in Turkey. They have formed a community with over 2,000 people to this day, but they are still illegal immigrants. Ozan, who came to Japan with his parents at the age of six, works in building demolition and struggles to make a living, but his future remains uncertain. Ramazan endeavors harder than his friend Ozan to assimilate into Japanese society and secure stable refugee status, but it is not easy. Ramazan's cousin, Mehmet is detained for a year and a half after protesting against the hospital that refused to accept him when he was sick. They are strangers who cannot help but live outside their homeland.
