Jorge is making a film about Le Trio en mi bémol (1987), the only theater play written by Éric Rohmer. Adélia and Paul divorced long ago. One day she visits him. Over the year, they meet seven times.
Some moments in life are remembered through music. Mozart's “The Kegelstatt Trio” is the music that accompanies the moments of misunderstanding of love in a couple's relationship in this film. The Kegelstatt Trio begins with a scene in which an adaptation of Le Trio en mi bémol, the only stage play written by Éric Rohmer, is shot as a film. Although separated, the couple still visit and spend time together, waiting for serendipity that may bring the two together between the moments of love and friendship. Director Gomes shows that life, love and art is made up of a series of unexplained events that occur, which is the unchanging secret of life. Adolfo Arrieta, the director of Sleeping Beauty (2016), appears as the director of the adapted play within the film, a detail among many that will bring joy to viewers. [Sung MOON]
