Review

Director Lucrecia Martel headed to her hometown of Salta in northern Argentina due to the long-standing lockdown policy in Argentina during the pandemic. There, she captures the time she spent with musicians and old acquaintances. After darkness has fallen in the evening, tango singer Julieta Laso kicks off her first song by the bonfire, and a female trap rapper sings her own song in return. When the sun rises, traditional indigenous music flows through the forests of the beautiful northern regions. [Sung MOON]
