Wansoo, a full-time househusband, waits for his wife to return from her business trip to Japan with Mr. Jubei. Wansoo is busy—he is in therapy to treat pathological jealousy and also makes every effort to finance his wife's business. Wansoo is foolish. None of this is important, but his actions branch out and expand uncontrollably. The film unfolds with the characters woven into the narrative telling their own stories. Although each scene is short, the numerous extras and the splendid mise-en-scène act as comedic elements that match the overall narrative, in addition to the fact that Mr. Jubei, who could possibly be an imaginary creature, is mentioned in the title.
