Perhaps its history is full of ridiculously funny anecdotes, but there will also be regrets about its potential in it. The documentary Escape to the Silver Globe is the realization of this idea. With respect to On the Silver Globe, director Kuba Mikurda talks about its production process and the moment when the production was canceled through the testimony of the staff who participated in making it, the opinions of critics, and archives. Andrzej Żuławski's sci-fi film was never completed as originally planned, despite being the largest project in Polish cinematic history; filming was halted by the Communist government, and the set and costumes were destroyed.
