Overview

Sohhee wants to hide that she has a real sister from X.

Review

Middle school student Sohee has a sister figure that she admires outside of her home. Leaving behind her disabled sister, Sojin, Sohee smiles in a way she never has at home when she’s with Bobae. However, when people pity or gossip about Sojin, Sohee cannot laugh. This film keenly focuses on the feelings of a disabled person and her family. The air of conflict spreads, and the amplitude of emotions gets delicately adjusted. The film unfolds by patting Sohee on the back as she hopes to find her way, and the gentle but powerful hand of the director permeates throughout its entirety. (NAM Sunwoo)
