Hyunwoo is in his thirties but still unemployed. One day, he falls upon a pretty girl on the bus and follows her off. She says she must have her parents' permission when he asks for a date. So Hyunwoo goes off to a strange town to meet them and undergo a test to become her boyfriend.

Hyunwoo is drawn to Dukjin's allure and follows her lead. His inner psyche gradually turns darker as they change the location. Eventually, they arrive at a place of complete darkness. The director skillfully transforms a common occurrence of men admiring beautiful women on the street into a captivating and brilliant story. Viewers are intrigued by the direction of the narrative, including its destination and the consequences of a man's fleeting thoughts.
