Justina lives in the castle she inherited from her ex-employer with her daughter, Alexia. While this premise may sound far from real and more like a fairytale or a fantasy novel, it is a true story that actually happened in the Pampas of Buenos Aires. The mother and daughter spend their days in the castle surrounded by nature and animals. However, this picturesque scenery soon loses its splendor, and the worsening condition of the castle reveals the protagonist's financial state. Not only must she endure leakage, as well as the shortage of power and water, but when her ex-employer's relatives show up and still treat her like a housemaid, the decay of this castle is made whole. This film is a metaphor for Argentina's socioeconomic turbulence and a story of love between mother and daughter who fight their destiny. (Sung MOON)
