Tulgaa, a chef in the city, returns to his hometown to care for his ill stepfather. And when he passes away, he decides to stay for the harvest as he promised his stepfather. While working in the field, he meets a boy called Tuntuulei, who lives with his grandfather after his mother left for the city for work. Tuntuulei confidently declares that he'll teach this city mouse the ways of the prairie after seeing how awkward Tulgaa is in farming. Though the pair starts awkwardly, Tulgaa and Tuntuulei gradually find common ground and build a strong bond. The acting and directing by BALJINNYAM Amarsaikhan are also something to look forward to as he intuitively uses the power of the Mongolian scenery to amplify sentimentality and showcase the coming reality of the nomad culture on the verge of change.
