Overview

A man gets lost in the mountains and stumbles across a house in the woods. He falls in love with the woman (Princess Andromeda) who lives in this house with a wealthy man she does not truly love. The two lovers make a getaway but live a difficult life in poverty.

Review

A wealthy woman living in a forest mansion falls in love with a man wandering around the forest and runs away with him. However, as their time together continues, she feels lonely and exhausted. The director skillfully subverts the Andromeda myth, exploring the allure of things that appear beautiful from afar, such as intense love, city lights, and stars in the night sky. Through the woman, the film depicts the uncomfortable truths that appear nearby. Ultimately, she realizes she is not Princess Andromeda only after facing the harsh realities. (LEE Gauen)
