Review

One of the powers of films is that they can show old scenery in detail that is now changed. The people we see in the ancient landscape that now disappeared are somewhat different from now. In that sense, all films are documentaries. Rabbits and Bears also has such power of a record. It can bring us back to Myeongdong in the mid-2000s and to the slow-paced aesthetic of Minihompy. She majored in directing at KAFA (20th graduate class). She directed several short films including Rabbits and Bears, Deaf Fish and Moon (2009), and M.boy (2015) and a feature Dancing Zoo (2009). Rabbits and Bears premiered and won prizes at distinguished film festivals in the world.
