Just two weeks before Roya is set to emigrate from Iran to Denmark, she encounters a quiet young girl who appears lost and doesn’t remember anything. Roya takes her in, providing her with a home and introducing her to her husband, family, and friends – all the while blissfully unaware that this girl has come to replace her.
In two weeks, Roya is set to immigrate from Iran to Denmark, following the insistence of her husband, Babak. Roya spends her days preparing for the move, such as packing and tidying up the house. One day, she encounters a young woman on the street who seems lost and disoriented and eventually collapses in front of her. Roya takes her to her house to help. When the young woman regains her senses, Roya goes to the police station, but the young woman's identity is not verified. As Roya prepares for her departure, she discovers she cannot leave the country due to her connection to the young woman. The young woman pretends to be Roya and begins stealing Roya's identity. With the aid of Babak, Roya is no longer Roya, and a young woman transforms into Roya. The idea of someone becoming another person and vice versa may seem absurd, but director Arian VAZIRDAFTARI's thriller raises questions about identity. Tannaz Tabatabaei delivers an excellent performance as Roya. (CHUN Jinsu)
