In a peaceful barbershop, master sergeant Kim, the barber, starts telling his friends the story of the scissors hanging on the wall.
A barber tells his customers a story about the scissors hanging on the wall. His father was taken into custody during The April Revolution and got surgery with that scissors in an interrogation room. He starts to tell another story to another customer who missed the story as he fell asleep. His father, who went to Gyeongseong High School, became a Seogwipo Technical High School graduate. We know that these are not real stories but are also aware that the events in his stories really happened in the past. That is why we cannot just take his stories as a bluff of a barber. By sharing a tragic history, the film makes his stories a fable. (LEE Gauen)
