Overview

Seondeok Arts High school sets a 'moral distance rule,' forbidding physical contact between boys and girls. Because of this rule, the school recommends Byung-chan and Seo-hyun, who have been dating for 700 days, transfer to another school.

Review

The film shows more on conflicts and prejudices rather than focusing on growth. Not a single human is the same. Wearing the same uniform does not make people the same. The film might have wanted to be clear about the love between the two through the difficulties and the conflicts of the people around them. Through the ending, the film delivers a message. When there is conflict in a relationship, keeping a distance is needed to communicate. Maybe that is the hidden meaning of the ethical distance rule. (KIM Jonghee)
