Im Ih-ju, daughter of Chae Sung-ju, tells her life story, the story behind her adopted name Rosa, and her passion for dance. The film is about the lives of various people, including Iju, her friend So-won, and a friend of a friend.
Even if we expand it to 40 years of Academy history, Rosa’s Story achieved a certain level of uniqueness. This film is made of dances and memories, and most of all, love. It thoroughly removed cinematic views and followed the format of the performing art, making it original and had never been introduced. The ghostly camera movement that draws the audience into the film and makes them feel like they dance together is very impressive. (CHOI Eunkyu)
