Overview

After a girl witnesses a boy act on his affection for his friend, he agrees to do her bidding to keep his secret. But the consequences are not what anyone would expect when the friend discovers the truth.

Review

Jun-hee's secret is discovered by soon-young. In return, Jun-hee agrees to help soon-young with her commutes and run cigarette errands. But eventually, her secret gets revealed among friends, and soon-young and Jun-hee hurt each other. Even though they are hurt by one another, they still go to school together. Because they are lonely, because they need someone, and because they need someone to rely on. Will the summer break, mixed with secrets, rumors, and scars, be a good memory for them? (LEE Gauen)

DIRECTOR

SON Tae-gyum

Born in 1986. He majored in directing at KAFA (29th graduate class). He made short films, Fly by Night (2011) and In the summer (2012). He also made his feature debut with Baby Beside Me (2016). His short film, Fly by Night, won the third prize in Cinéfondation at the Cannes FF 2011.
