Overview

Two ghost-seeking YouTubers happen to meet the bizarre man who lives in the forest by himself.

Review

Director NOH Young-seok returns after ten years since his last film, Intruders (2013), with a new black comedy full of dark humor. The Nature Man follows Ingong, a YouTuber known as Gwisiker, who specializes in ghosts. He and his dance YouTuber friend, Byeongjin, venture deep into the mountains to meet someone who can summon and see ghosts. Although they cannot directly see the ghosts, they encounter bizarre situations. In this process, Ingong feels ostracized by the man and Byeongjin, and things get worse when the man’s female friend appears. The twist in the second half is crucial, but even without it, the film is full of exciting situations and hilarious moments that entertain the audience. The performances of actors such as Byun Jae-sin, Jung Yong-hoon, and Shin Un-seop are impressive. Still, the comedy acting of Lee Ranhee, an actor and director of A Leave, is particularly noteworthy.
