Overview

After her boyfriend is discharged from the military, Surim goes to the flower market for him. She wants to save money. However, she can't hide her feelings when she sees her boyfriend.

Review

Surim's heart of carefully choosing flowers for her boyfriend is conveyed through the screen. From beautifully folded paper flowers and a celebratory cake for his military discharge, her hope for a lasting relationship with him is palpable. However, the meaning of lisianthus flowers, the 'life-long bond' rings differently between them. And Surim's first relationship is stored as strange and chilling, not a midday warmth. This film depicts the changes that seep into the cracks of two people's relationships without any major incidents. (KANG Jin-ah)
