Overview

A journey constructed from a body language portrayed in melodramas and war movies of the 30s and 40s in Hollywood cinema. The absence of faces enlightens an anonymous side, erasing the identity of the actor-character in a continuum of daily actions, fleeting contacts, loving offerings, and deathly silences.

Review

This singular film uses scenes from melodramas and war movies from the 1930s and 1940s. The director rearranges poetic images from the original films along with the bodies of actors that evoke the most beautiful and heartrending stories to create a visual discourse. This short is like a dream of a film about Hollywood. (Sung MOON)
