Overview

12 years after having shot our feature Heartbeat Detector with Michael Lonsdale, we made a small film with him in his apartment, a few months before he died. Then edited it a few months after.

Review

Actor Michael Lonsdale's career includes films directed by Jacques Rivette, Jean Eustache, Luis Buñuel, Marguerite Duras, and Steven Spielberg, among other big names. In this brief portrait and tribute dedicated to him by directors Nicolas KLOTZ and Elisabeth PERCEVAL, Londsdale recites texts by Antonin Artaud, Plutarch and is recorded in different film formats, while leaving us one of the last images of his greatness as a performer, shortly before of his death.
