Referring to his own art, Jonas Mekas said: “I want to celebrate the small forms of cinema, the lyrical forms, the poem, the watercolor, etude, sketch, postcard, arabesque, triolet and bagatelle ... the invisible, the personal, things that bring no money and no bread and make no contemporary history...”. In this brief and emotional short, the director Friedl vom GRÖLLER pays homage to the filmmaker using the same resources that he used in his work: brief moments of happiness and beauty, the dancing, the streets, the music, the life that goes on and the cinema always present to record it.
