Overview

When Vadim KOSTROV accompanied young couple Katya and Kostya to a nearby lake and filmed them with the directness for which he is known, he couldn’t foresee the political implications of these images. At the time Kostya was about to join the Russian military – a decision he came to regret later on.

Review

A camera records a group of people living a moment of happiness next to a lake, almost as if it were a home movie. Among them is a couple - Katya and Kostya. In that idyllic moment, no one suspects the future that awaits one of them. The beauty of the world and the evil decisions of powerful men to destroy it are exposed in these momentary scenes about our world and its realities. (Sung MOON)
