The musical forms of techno music consumed by the young protagonists of the film adopt a perfect cinematic equivalence in After's narrative. Slight variations on the same theme end up becoming captivating. At the beginning of the film, we find ourselves in a disco where a series of young people live their night. A closed space where bodies are confused, while illegal substances are consumed and where the outside seems not to exist. But as the title of the film indicates, the after party will take on relevant importance in the story of the protagonists, where individualities and class differences will be exposed to the light of day. A light that will also illuminate the city, showing us that outside the disco, in the streets of Paris, everything seems about to explode. (Sung MOON)
