In a way, this film is a psychodrama because the direction and compositions devised by the director accurately reflect Jeong-min’s inner world. Though simple, the presented images and sounds are structured three-dimensionally. An interesting aspect of structure-building is that the film’s overall shape resembles Jeong-min’s emotional state. Its main substance consists of anxiety stemming from a temperament squeezed down to the point that it may burst. This story gives off a grotesque flair while offering a new fantasy-like sensitivity.
