Right before music class begins, Hansel realizes she hasn’t brought her recorder. To escape the punishment of singing in front of her classmates, she escapes the school premises. Hansel, who suffers from urinary incontinence, lives an anxiety-filled life. Hansel builds walls in fear of making mistakes or receiving hate, but they tumble down in the most unexpected moments and expose the loose connection between Hansel and the people around her. The depiction of the female students’ psyche and their relationship with Hansel, as well as their bright attitude until the very end, is incredibly impactful. (CHO Hyun-na)
