The Revival Farm
Late at night, roaring sounds echo at the poultry farms full of chickens. Soon after, tractors begin to carry chickens. As the day dawns, Jae-cheol, the owner of "The Revial Farm," prepares to receive chicks by managing the empty poultry farms and doing his daily life.

The film diligently follows a farmer named Jae-cheol through his day, as he goes between his farm and church. Deep in the night, the chicken farm becomes empty when the tractors carry the chickens away. When dawn breaks, worshippers congregate to the church to pray. The chicks grow up to become chickens, and Jae-cheol catches and eats them with his neighbors. The camera peers deep into his life, but never restricts anyone. It simply illustrates the how far and close the gaps between life and death, humans and non-human animals, salvation and everyday life are. The act of living out a life and making one face life’s meaninglessness - that may just be one of the powerful messages that documentaries can bestow. (KEEM Youngle)
