This film twists the queer narrative, to which the world has affixed a stereotypical narrative of external prejudice and bodily fixation. As an aromantic individual, the main character begins questioning themselves as they look inward. Such doubts lead the audience to question themselves, continue to transcend a queer narrative, and become an attempt to expand the meaning of “love”. Never compromising its core idea, the film conveys a clear message and, in the end, succeeds in its attempts and experiments. Above all, this incredibly charming film boasts a magical realism while creating a peculiar tension between the gap between rich sensations and reality. (KIM Hyunjung)
