High school graduation. It’s the end of an era, but such milestones often have nothing to do with the genuine moments of growth and the maturing process. One of the two main characters of Our Graduation is never named. A faded nametag, a dying dove, and an old camcorder: amidst forgotten objects, the film clings, however weakly it may be, to things that reawaken something within oneself. After a chaotic, busy event, memory often overpowers the strength of recorded information, especially when something breaks. This is a story that believes in the power of a coincidental memory. In other words, it’s a story that cherishes a running bag over a fully written notebook. (LEE Bora)
