Car racing is considered a sport exclusively for men, but one German girl decides to take a shot. Sophia Flörsch has been fascinated by car racing since she was five. She gets involved in a horrific accident during the Macau Grand Prix, but she overcomes the difficult time of rehabilitation and miraculously gets back behind the wheel in just 106 days. Her return moves many, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be qualified as an F1 racer. The male racers on Flörsch’s team are also working towards F1, and the competition is fierce even among teammates. Unfortunately, there’s more to car racing than being fast on the tracks, it takes a lot of money. Since Flörsch isn’t as financially stable compared to her colleagues, she has no other choice but to get sponsorship to stay competitive. She promotes herself on social media, attends various events, and secures sponsorship money. But at the same time, Flörsch must endure all kinds of criticism women face when they set foot in a men’s world. (CHUN Jinsu)
