Zeca always does everything the same. Getting out of bed is becoming increasingly difficult; something prevents him from maintaining this daily routine. One day, Zeca meets Luisa.

Zeca is a librarian working for an elementary school. He is a friendly guy who makes peace and works with kids. However, being on time is the hardest thing for him. Recently, it has been extra hard for him to wake up in the morning. Eventually, on a lucky day, when he gets a final notice from the school, he meets a new world. The movie shows Brazilian society and its people surprisingly realistically. People's bodies, comfortable movements, honest conversations, and the rhythm of language naturally form the mood, quietly portraying the main characters' lives without exaggerating. Of course, twists and turns exist, but we see a small yet caring gesture on a sunny morning after a cold beer. This movie is a heartwarming present, just like listening to a soothing Brazilian bossa nova song. (Sung MOON)
