It powerfully conveys how life's unraveling often begins not with dramatic events but with small, intractable realities. Perhaps the most vulnerable among us are not those who have already hit bottom, but those teetering on the edge—people who seemingly do not qualify for any assistance despite their precarious position. The director ultimately suggests that salvation exists not within our mechanized capitalist system, but in human connection—in the time we spend together and the compassion we share with one another.
