The Heart-Heart Orchestra, an ensemble composed of members with developmental disabilities, is raising awareness of disabilities through various performances both domestically and internationally. They are developmentally disabled, but they are also professional musicians who take on roles in the orchestra. This film observes how these two identities interact.

Heart to Heart is a simple documentary. This film which records the activities of the Heart-Heart Orchestra, an ensemble composed of members with developmental disabilities, doesn't try to mediate between the subjects and the audience. Instead, it silently and diligently follows the orchestra for the lengthy period of the COVID-19 pandemic to the end of the pandemic in an intimate and delicate way, attracting the audience to the active subjects. There are no fabricated characters and no specific story lines constructed, so the film can feel flat at times. However, it wouldn't have been possible for the orchestra members to let their true selves show if it hadn't been for this process, so the filmmaker's patience and perseverance leave a strong impression. Without having to intentionally teach a lesson, the film proves how those with developmental disabilities can merge naturally into society through music, and at the same time, build the desire in the audience to want to watch these professionally trained musicians up close.
