She was born on June 9, 1991, in Gwangju, South Korea. In March 2010, she entered Chosun University, majoring in Korean Language and Literature. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Korean Language and Literature, English, and Visual Design in August 2015, she graduated. In 2018, she directed her first film Before my mom becomes 60 She later directed Persimmon Tree (2020), Cheers! (2023), All-live (2024), and in 2025, she is set to directStand.
