Review

The director tried to make a documentary about cats. By becoming close with the stray cats around the apartment he gets to see new things, both beautiful and ugly. In the end, the director is left with a sad portrait of people and society.

Ahn Kearn-hyung

Born in 1976, he graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Physics and Astronomy and Korea National University of Arts with professional degree on Film, TV& Multimedia. He has been making experimental works with basis on documentary; he has also directed House of the Freshness, a film in which mixed forms photodrama and documentary were adopted. This piece was screened in JIFF 2008.
