Mohammad RASOULOF

Born in 1972 in Shiraz, Iran. An Iranian independent filmmaker. He studied sociology at Shiraz University, and film editing in Tehran. He made his feature debut with The Twilight(2002). In 2010 he was arrested for filming without a permit. He received a prison sentence and now he is out on bail. His last film Goodbye(2011) won Un Certain Regard Directing Prize at Cannes Film Festival.
