Born in 1956 in Kotschach-Mauthen, Austria. He Studied sculpture at the Academy of fine arts, Vienna and has directed short films since 1994. His works have played world wide, including Rotterdam, Locarno. His last short, Hypercrises(2011) was nominated for the European Film Academy Award in 2011.
