Review

Sarah is a juvenile offender for subsistence who approaches drivers posing as a hitchhiker and picks the driver’s pocket. Her well-going criminal activity is stopped and faltered when a man has accidently died over her crime. Suffering from a guilty conscience, Sarah goes to his wife to hand his wallet without telling who she is. After that, the precarious friendship between Sara and his wife starts.

Sebastian Rose has studied and taught philosophy before gaining experience in cinema as a director assistant and producer. In 2003, he realized Comment Ma Mere Accoucha De Moi Durant Sa Menopause , which won the Jutra for Best Canadian first feature. In 2005, he realized La Vie Avec Mon Pere which won the Prestigious Audience Award voted by the public at the International Film Festival of Karlovy Vary. He then directed Le Banquet in 2008 which also received critical acclaim.
