Born in 1976, France. Before graduating from medical school, he directed three shorts, [#i_]Quelques heures en hiver[_i#](1999), [#i_]Apres l’enfance[_i#](2002) and [#i_]Roue libre[_i#](2003). He continued to practice as a primary-care physician alongside his work as a writer and director. His debut feature [#i_]Blindfolded[_i#](2007) was released in 2008 and [#i_]Hippocrates[_i#](2013) was the closing film at the Cannes Film Festival Critics’ Week in 2014.
